From the Editor
Dear Friends,
It is time to go back to school for all of you who are students. Many new challenges will come your way this year, and I hope you turn them all into opportunities to learn and grow.
If this is your first time opening up a Studio Classroom magazine, you will find that our articles talk about a wide variety of topics. For example, this month, we introduce some different kinds of sports that you may or may not have heard about. Look at our cover – would you like to play this kind of soccer? And we are also introducing Malala Yousafzai to you this month. This young girl stood up for girls who were not allowed to be educated in her country and was shot because she did so. Since then, she has recovered and gone on to promote girls’ education around the world. You can read all about her this month right here.
We also give you some ideas on how to listen more effectively to others when they are talking. And also because school is starting, we have included an article about making the most of your study time. Learn some English and get some good advice on both of these topics.
We also celebrate Teacher’s Day this month, so don’t forget to show appreciation to your hard-working teachers. And remember to speak a little English every day.
