Updated National Public Safety Guide Released in Taiwan
普發新版「臺灣全民安全指引」
Because of growing concerns over national security and civil emergencies, the Taiwanese government released an updated civil defense handbook in late 2025. The guide is intended to help residents prepare for various emergencies, including natural disasters and potential crises.
由於對國家安全和民生緊急情況的擔憂日益加劇，臺灣政府於 2025 年底發布了新版的民防手冊。該手冊旨在幫助居民做好應對各種緊急情況的準備，包括自然災害和潛在危機。
The handbook advises households to keep a one-week supply of essentials—such as food, drinking water, hygiene items, and basic disaster-prevention tools—in a go-bag placed near the door. It also lists radio stations that provide real-time emergency updates and safety information.
這本手冊建議每個家庭備好一週的必需品 —— 例如食物、飲用水、衛生用品和基本防災工具 —— 放進一個緊急避難包中，並將其放置在靠近門邊的位置。手冊還列出了提供即時更新緊急情況和安全資訊的廣播電臺。
The handbook features a bright orange cover and uses cartoon characters to illustrate self-help and emergency procedures. Available in both Chinese and English, the handbook can be downloaded from the All-out Defense Mobilization Agency’s official website. Printed copies were sent by mail to district offices in late 2025, with household deliveries scheduled for completion by January 2026.
該手冊以亮橘色封面為特色，並使用卡通人物來圖解自救與緊急程序。手冊可以從國防部全民防衛動員署的官方網站下載，並提供中、英文兩個版本。印刷版已於 2025 年底郵寄至各區公所，預計 2026 年一月前完成所有家庭的發放。
