馬丁．薛文 Martin J. Sherwin
馬丁．薛文擔任塔夫茨大學（Tufts University）的英國與美國史「 Walter S. Dickson教授」（名譽教授），以及喬治梅森大學（George Mason University）的正教授，直到他於二〇二一年的十月過世。他第一本關於美國對外關係史的著作《A World Destroyed: The Atomic Bomb & The Grand Alliance》（Knopf，1971）就贏得「Stuart L. Bernath」獎，並且入圍普立茲獎決選名單。他最後一本著作《Gambling with Armageddon: Nuclear Roulette from Hiroshima to the Cuban Missile Crisis》（Knopf）於二〇二〇年出版。 生前和妻子蘇珊住在華盛頓特區和科羅拉多州的亞斯本（Aspen）。
